Within these drawings, the viewer is presented with viewpoints of both the unknown and what we struggle to understand. Lewis encourages the audience to picture themselves on the edge of the event horizon of a black hole through the use of highly contrasted drawing materials. The Event Horizon drawings also highlight the exotic properties of these giants, the energy and particles they absorb and radiate whilst simultaneously asking the question of what is on the other side.
