10 Years Longer Than the Sun
99
'10^99 Years Longer Than the Sun' is the fifth entry into the 'Stories' series of artworks and touches upon a story which is ongoing in the cosmos and will outlast every star in the night sky.
'10^99..' looks at the extremely mind-boggling lifespans of Black Holes within the cosmos. Touching upon the most common way they are formed through the death throws of a supergiant star, the work proceeds to transport the viewer through years that seem to have an almost infinite amount of zeros at the end of them. Delving into the theories on how these titans slowly evaporate away over periods that easily outlast every star that can be seen today in the night sky. It's a story that will go on long after humanity, our planet, and the stars and will be one of the last events our universe will witness providing the universe follows the theory of a 'Heat Death'.
